Katherine "Katie" "Vulture" Beauchamp is a fictional character appearing in HELLCATS: STRIKE FORCE.
Early Life and Education
Katherine Geneva Beauchamp was born on a Star Force base to her parents, career Star Force officer Captain Leonard "Goldburst" Beauchamp and Matilda Beauchamp, a former accountant. Vulture was raised under a Star Force lifestyle, with the intent of her going to the Star Force Academy and becoming a commissioned officer in the Star Force just like her father, grandfather, and great grandfather before her.
After high school, Vulture became the 4th generation of the Beauchamp family to attend the Star Force Academy. Upon graduation, Vulture and the rest of her class were given two weeks of leave before being called up for space duty as part of the surge in operations against the Velox.[1]
Career
After graduating from the United Space Star Force Academy with the rank of Ensign, Vulture was called up for space duty and assigned to the USS Martha King as a rapid reconnaissance flight officer. There she was assigned to Gold flight of the 8th Fighter/Reconnaissance Squadron and paired up with weapons officer, Lieutenant (Junior Grade) Ashley "Iceskater" Elway.
Personal Life
Vulture was raised Roman Catholic, and maintains this affiliation on her Star Force records, although she does not actively practice her faith.
She has identified as a lesbian since high school.
